Now, if someone could make me a specialised game around 60s Jags, Ferraris, Cobras etc… with all the details and immersion of ACC…Ĭlick to expand. My feeling is that AC brings more information to the wheel, and especially the feeling of the car under braking and the understeer/oversteer effects are very strong. We’re all pretending to drive around exotica. Remember, you’re only driving pixels… all the different cars are essential essentially fancy dress. It’s nothing like jumping between simulated versions of them though. That’s been a special experience, often mildly disappointing too. I’ve been lucky enough to drive a wide range of cars in real life. In the end it’s a value for money exercise. Imagine how much care and attention has gone in to the few cars in ACC versus the crazy number in AMS2, for instance. Specialist games that focus on one type are always going to have a superior results in terms of accuracy and attention to detail. Some go faster, some go slower, but I’m not sure how that affects the enjoyment. Its not the real thing… it never will be… it’s a simulation of racing a car. The whole thing around it only being GT3 I don’t get.
